PUBLICATIONS

The Truth & Reconciliation Commission (CAVR) was an independent body established to address a complex and troubled human rights history in Timor Leste. A priority was publishing a definitive history of conflict and it's consequences in order to establish a record for the people of Timor. The project was vital for healing the sense of injustice permeating society, as well as allowing people to remember the consequences of political violence.

I designed a series of books based on national public hearings. I photo-edited them from an archive of historical images, created a identity and style for the CAVR to use. Covers were illustrated and maps drawn. Tetum, Indonesian, English and Portuguese language versions were published.
